Stars With a Heart was created in from the creative mind of founder, Mary Porter. While living in Puerto Vallarta, Porter became aware of the many other talented performers that entertained in Puerto Vallarta. She also became aware of the many community needs. Her vision was to create and show that would feature different entertainers as a benefit show for area charities.
